There are more than a handful of reasons people from the United States move their money to Party Poker. It’s a brand name, a big name in poker, and also a place to play with big money.
But this doesn’t mean that you will always play with real money, since it also offers some of the Easiest Poker Bonuses Around. I enjoy playing No-Limit (NL) Hold’em, and I discovered Party Poker pretty quickly after reading a lot of good reviews about it on blogs and such. I had read some favorable reviews, but I still had doubts about whether it was the easiest and best place to play Hold’em.
I didn’t want to deposit money at first, because that meant I had to pay a deposit fee of 20% or more, whenever I won a portion of a prize. However, I gave it a chance and transferred a small amount of money, which I kept in a different bank account entirely. Easy enough to do.
After that, I was hooked. It was like discovering a whole new world. I spent many hours playing on Party Poker and learned a lot about the game. I think I played at least 100 hands of NL before I finally chose to switch to playing exclusively on Party Poker.
However, I didn’t switch over from playing NL. I started playing Omaha, and I learned how to play the game better and bet more properly. I also found a poker training guide that taught me how to be patient and wait for the right hand to make a move. Party Poker is still a very popular game among experienced players and beginner players alike. There are thousands of players online at any given time. Good money can be had, but it’s no doubt still a gamble.
It’s recommended that before attempting to play any poker game online you should study the risks and odds of the game. Party Poker provides a chart of starting hand probabilities, and the odds of getting a certain hand given a certain board card. Unless you read that chart, you probably won’t understand much of the information (there’s a lot of stuff in there I had never thought of), but it’s very important when choosing what tables to join. Party Poker has tight and loose players, so if you’re a nut they’re going to want to know every possible combination of cards you have. They also have a high variance, so you’re likely to see a lot of action. What that means is that their standard deviation usually isn’t as high as your table average, making it easier to make the money.
As I said, I’m not sure if Party Poker is the best poker room, but I’ve been able to make a fairly decent living off of it. Someone else’s money is still money, and I’ll happily work my way up to higher limits with any winnings I earn at Party Poker. I don’t think it would be that easy to earn the same amount of money somewhere else, because the variance would be far greater. However, if you’re winning once with Party Poker, you can do the same thing at another poker room. You’re also able to play lower limits to help you build a bankroll, too. Party Poker is one of the few sites that offer a bonus. They offer a 100% bonus up to $500 on your first deposit (up to $500), plus a deposit bonus of up to $100. The best part is that you can get a no deposit bonus, so if you don’t want to deposit your own money, you can get a bonus from the poker room instead.
It would take a lot of articles to 1,000 to 1 to fully explain why you would want to play at Party Poker, because there are numerous factors that influence your decisions. We can only tell you what we think, but we can’t tell you exactly how to play every hand or every race. You can find out more about how to play the game in my book and on my website.

Effective Holdem Poker unwaveringly follows the one rule, played consistently in the long run, which is that you need to play tight aggressive. The secret is that you don’t have to say anything, or do anything, during the first few rounds.
When you say something like, “I’ll play with you when I have trips”, you’re receiving a signal to the game that you want action. You don’t necessarily have to say anything else – your statement is enough.
When you say “I’ll fold if I get unlucky”, you’re also sending a signal to the game that you’re playing very loose. Perhaps even passive aggressive.
