How to Go From an Amateur Gambler to a Full Time Gambler

First, you must ask yourself this very serious question. Can you seriously handle the fact that some days you may go to “work” for eight hours and lose money? If you can cope with that fact, then you may be able to make it to the next level of making a full time living gambling.

I made this transition from an amateur gambler to a full time gambler during the last three years. The first step was simply moving from the casino to the Internet. With the many bookmakers of the Internet offering a $10,000.00 bonus to any gambler that joined and deposited at least $1,000.00, I figured if I could deposit $1,000.00 and play games for an hour, I could easily clear the bonus and with some luck, make a few thousand dollars. Little did I know that I would be creating a new career in the casinos.

The first step was simply moving into the casinos. I started with craps. I thought I would stick with it, at least for the income. Little did I know that craps is one of the lowest probability games in the casino. When you walk into a casino and play craps you are bringing 36 x 0.35 odds with you. Those odds are terrible and you are getting 36 x 0.35 = 5.3 odds. convoluted? Yes. but if you average 1 out of every 4 throws you will hit the house while only hitting the 5.3% of the time. I quickly learned this the hard way. Fast forward to today and I make a full time living playing at the casinos. Today I make a comfortable living off casino gambling. Today I sleep and I learn in the evening.

The important question today is this. Can you make a living at online casinos? The answer is YES. There are very few games today that you can make a living off of. My profession is gambling and I make a very comfortable living off of playing games like blackjack and poker. These games actually account for 80% of my income daily. The remainder of my income is generated by my betting system and a little by Live Draw Hk Pools.

How am I able to do this? I play games like blackjack and poker and answer yes to this question. These are perfectly legal in my home state of Nevada and best of all, the local police are on the side of me as long as I am playing blackjack or poker. There is a great camaraderie in the gaming community. When I go to the casino, I go to the table limit. When I decide to increase my betting, other players will not get annoyed. There is a strict limit on the amount you can bet increase, because the first few times things go poorly, the only thing you increase is yourself.

The blackjack tables are the most profitable for me. One of the reasons is that unlike poker, blackjack is not tournament style. When I see a streak of good cards going on, I know I am going to see a streak of bad cards going on. Therefore, with a $1,000.00 bankroll, I can still only lose up to 10% of it. When I see a streak of bad cards, I know I will be able to recoup my losses, plus a bit more. I have had times of being up 20%, 30% even 40% over my bankroll in a single sitting.

Playing blackjack for a living is definitely possible. You just need to be willing to bet a little more than the minimum 3% of your bankroll. Betting a standard 3% is $10.00 a game, or $100.00 a day. You also need to bet a little more than the maximum 50% of your bankroll to make it work. Don’t be greedy. Unless you can buy a lot of books, a lot of software, and really learn to play effectively, you will never be able to make a living playing blackjack.

Making any kind of money playing blackjack is extremely difficult. Even professional gamblers lose money playing blackjack. However, if you bet a little more than the minimum, you will be profitable. Betting a little more than the maximum bet is the key. Playing blackjack profitably is doable but you have to make some arbitrary decisions along the way.

One of the rules I follow is never to play a casino that has lower rules than us. If a casino has a bonus payout you are receiving lower than our standard for that bonus. To a gambler that is not good. Recent change to the standard rules of blackjack have made this even more imperative. The lowly House edge in blackjack is about 2.5%.
